The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and implement treatment plans. This role assists patients in improving mobility, reducing pain, restoring function, and achieving rehabilitation goals in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Requirements
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice
Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise techniques
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
Experience in outpatient physical therapy or multidisciplinary settings preferred
